Program Fees

Since the 2003 - 2004 academic year, undergraduate students in W. P. Carey School of Business programs have paid a special program fee. The fee revenue has been used solely to provide curricula and student services that are not common at ASU, but which are covered by tuition at many schools that charge multiples of ASU's tuition.

Academic Advising

Provides personalized, accurate, and developmental advising to all current and prospective W. P. Carey students.

Admissions and Recruiting

Introduces students, their families, counselors and community colleges to key areas of business. Manages first‐year student, transfer, and portfolio admissions.

Business Career Services

Assists students in exploring career options and coaching them in effective methods of job search. The overall objective is to improve career satisfaction, placement rates, and salaries of our graduating students. The career services is 100 percent supported by program fees.

Curricula and Teaching

Provides classroom technology improvements, increases the number of student assistants in selected classes, and provides curricular options such as InnovationSpace to undergraduate students.

Financial Aid

Provides scholarships as well as aid to students with a reported need.

Student Engagement

Provides an academic, social, and professional community in which students get involved with clubs and extracurricular activities, learn time management, and build strong connections with each other, faculty, staff, and the school. Programs and events are planned for students throughout the academic year and include both new initiatives and traditions alike. Traditions include the WPC 101 Entrepreneurship Challenge, Welcome Week, Family Weekend, intramurals, Executive Lecture Series, Involvement Week, and more.

Tutoring and the Student Success Center

Offers free academic support resources for all undergraduate business students. This includes tutoring, writing support, structured study groups, and a dedicated study space within W. P. Carey.

Facility Fee

This fee was supported by our undergraduate students to increase the student experience, providing a new building and renovations such as tutoring facilities, team rooms, interview rooms, study/lounge space and upgraded classrooms, advising and recruiting space, and additional gathering space for students and faculty to meet. The fee will be used to continually upgrade and maintain W. P. Carey School of Business facilities. All W. P. Carey undergraduate and graduate students pay a program/facility fee of $250 per year.
