Next steps for newly admitted first-year students

Welcome! Congratulations on your admission to the W. P. Carey School of Business and Arizona State University. To help you prepare for the first semester of your first year as an ASU student, please review the steps below.

1. Log in to My ASU

View and complete your Priority Tasks, which includes important next steps and other to-do items.

2. Pay the enrollment deposit

All remaining tasks will appear once the enrollment deposit has been paid:

Complete your housing application today! Please note that you do not need an assigned roommate to complete your housing application.

Take the math placement exam: ASU requires all incoming first-year students to take a math placement exam online at least 72 hours prior to enrollment. NOTE: You will not be able to register for a math course without a math placement score.

Complete the New Student Experience: Once you have paid your enrollment deposit you will then have access to the New Student Experience steps to complete important tasks, including class registration, to ensure a successful transition to ASU. For questions, please contact [email protected].

Before you attend please submit any ACT and/or SAT scores or Advanced Placement or Dual Enrollment Credit:

• ACT or SAT scores, Advanced Placement and/or Dual Enrollment credits are not required for admission, but may be submitted for ASU course placement or as supplemental information. Have your scores sent to ASU from ACT or College Board when you register for the test. Learn more about sending your test scores to ASU.
• For Advanced Placement and Dual Enrollment Credits please submit official scores to the ASU Admissions Office. Learn more about how to transfer credits.

3. Submit proof of measles immunization

ASU requires students to submit MMR immunization documentation in order to enroll. Visit EOSS to learn more.

4. Give your parents/guardians limited access to My ASU

Through My ASU Parent Guest Access, you can share your academic records with your parent or guardian, and even better, give them access to pay your tuition and bills. Go to My ASU, select the Profile tab at the top and find “Add a Guest” under My ASU Guest Access Permissions.
