Undergraduate Students
Graduation
Applying to Graduate:
Spring 2025 Graduation Filing Deadline: February 15, 2025
You must file for graduation through My ASU or in the Graduation Office by February 15 in order for your name to appear in the Commencement Program ($100 filing fee and $25 for each additional concurrent degree). A late fee of $35 will apply if filing after the February 15 deadline.
NOTE: Applying to graduate with the University (and paying the fee) is separate from participating in ceremonies. By applying to graduate, you are telling the University that you have completed all your degree requirements and are ready to graduate. Then, to celebrate your accomplishment, you can opt to participate in graduation ceremonies.
W. P. Carey Convocation Information:
Commencement is the larger ASU ceremony where President Michael Crow confers the degrees but students do not cross the stage. The W. P. Carey Convocation ceremony is where students are individually recognized, cross the stage, and receive their diploma cover.
Due to the size of our undergraduate graduating class, and to keep the ceremony at a reasonable length, the W. P. Carey School of Business will hold two convocation ceremonies for our undergraduate population. To ensure that we have appropriate seating for each ceremony, students are required to attend the ceremony that aligns with their degree program.
Each of the 30+ undergraduate degrees that are offered at W. P. Carey School of Business were divided amongst the two ceremonies.
Graduates must arrive at the Southeast entrance of Mountain America Stadium at 6:00 p.m. to check-in and get their reader card. Stadium gates will open for guests at 6:00 p.m.
Guest tickets are NOT required for the W. P. Carey Convocation Ceremony or ASU Commencement. Other ceremonies may require tickets.
If you have family and friends who cannot attend the ceremony, they can watch it live (or recently recorded) at http://www.ustream.tv/asutv.
