Scholarships & Resources

W. P. Carey School of Business offers many scholarship opportunities including merit and need-based scholarships. Merit-based scholarships are for students demonstrating high academic achievement and participation in community service and extracurricular activities. These scholarships are competitive. Students applying for merit scholarship also need to demonstrate active involvement within the communities and/or student organizations within Arizona State University.

Financial need-based scholarships are awarded to students who demonstrate a financial need. A student must have an appropriate Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application submitted and processed by the scholarship deadline date for the academic year scholarships to be awarded. W. P. Carey School of Business also offers students an opportunity to submit a financial need essay with their scholarship application for consideration of financial circumstances beyond the FAFSA application.

General Eligibility Requirements

  • Be admitted to a W. P. Carey degree seeking program by the deadline application date.
  • Be enrolled full-time for the upcoming award year.
  • Have a GPA of 3.0 or better.
  • A FAFSA application submitted. Please note: a FAFSA application is not required to apply to the General Scholarship Application, however, greater opportunities for eligibility of scholarships may be available by completing the FAFSA.
  • It is recommended to submit your FAFSA application by the ASU priority deadline of Feb. 1. In doing so, this may increase your opportunities of aid available through ASU.
