Internship

The internship course (FIN 484)* is available to juniors and seniors majoring in finance, accounting and/or economics. To be eligible for course enrollment you must have completed ACC 315 or ACC 303 or ACC 340, FIN 331, and FIN 361 or FIN 303 with a grade of C or better. An application can be submitted any time during the calendar year, but to be considered for a particular semester a student must have an approved application prior to the beginning of the semester and must enroll in the course before the late drop-add date for that particular semester. Students who enroll for this class must have met with Clinical Assistant Professorof Finance James Garrett to discuss the course requirements. *FIN 484 is taken for non-major elective credit only. It CANNOT be used within the 21 credits required in the major.

Advising

Finance major advising is available on the Tempe campus. If you would like to schedule an advising appointment but are located on a different campus, you are welcome to schedule a phone advising appointment, meet with the major advisor at the Tempe campus, or meet with a W. P.  Carey advisor located on your home campus. Appointments may be scheduled online using Advising SOS.
