Modern businesses are looking for ways to grow and prosper alongside our environment — and need sustainability leaders to help them do so. The W. P. Carey business degree in sustainability positions you to meet this demand, with the skills and knowledge necessary to influence growth, improve returns on capital, and improve risk management through sustainability. You’ll become an effective analyst and strategist, rethink the nature of business, and graduate ready to create a better future.

Major Requirements

The business degree in sustainability requires 18 credit hours within the concentration area (at least 12 hours must be ASU credit):

  • 6 hours of sustainability core
  • 12 hours of upper-division sustainability courses

Advising

Sustainability advising is available on the Tempe and West campuses. If you would like to schedule an advising appointment but are located on a different campus, you are welcome to schedule a phone advising appointment, meet with the concentration advisor at the Tempe or West campuses, or meet with a W. P. Carey advisor located on your home campus. Appointments may be scheduled online using Advising SOS.
