A.P.P.L.E.

Academy Peer Programmers for Leadership Engagement (APPLE) is a group of W. P. Carey Leaders Academy students who strive to build a sense of community as well as provide social, academic, and professional opportunities for Leaders Academy students. Throughout the academic year, APPLEs plan events exclusively for Leaders Academy students that are free for them to attend. Many events include the opportunity to network with fellow students, staff, faculty, and industry professionals.

Some of the events include:

  • Tours with employers in the Phoenix area (the Business Behind series)
  • Professional dinners with alumni and industry professionals
  • Broomball
  • Biannual APPLEfest
  • Service projects
  • Faculty mixer
  • End of the year banquet

APPLEs are selected through an application and interview process during the spring semester.
