CPA Requirements
In order to meet Certified Public Accountant (CPA) requirements, the Arizona Board of Accountancy requires the following:
- 150 semester hours of college coursework (completed bachelor degree)
- 36 hours of total accountancy coursework
- 30 hours of upper-division accountancy coursework

Advising
Accountancy major advising is available on the Tempe and West campuses. If you would like to schedule an advising appointment with the Accountancy major advisor, but are located on a different campus, you are welcome to schedule a phone advising appointment, meet with the major advisor at the Tempe or West campus, or meet with a W. P. Carey advisor located on your home campus. All types of appointments may be scheduled online using Advising SOS.
